Financial Planner Technology Limited - Financial Planner Security Policy

Please note that Financial Planner takes security of client information as first priority and has a comprehensive security policy in place for staff, employees, agents and all users and clients. Please read carefully this security policy before you register for Financial Planner and strictly enforce its code.

Points to Note:

Financial Planner information is not held on our offices but it is in located in a secured server held with Hosting & Web Solutions in a secure data centre. Financial Planner has encrypted by verifiable security certificate SSL 128 provided by Hosting & Web Solutions, Co.Kildare, Ireland which will protect the system from hacking and unwarranted viruses. All personal data held in your financial planner is stored in a secure server hosted with Hosting & Web Solutions and not stored in any other location without your express consent. However, there are times when security intrusions can be outside our control, so in the event of breach of security, we will shut down all client access for a minimum period of 24 hours until the breach is identified and security systems installed to prevent same. This will be done in the interests of all clients and agents.

Please note our strict security policy:

  • Do not store your access codes on your PC and have them noted anywhere which is visible to unwarranted intruders. If need be keep them off site.
  • Ensure you use the proper procedure for accessing your Financial Planner account. 
  • Ensure that only you access your Financial Planner account and do not provide access to your account to any bank or accountant. Instead email them a copy of the information rather than provide access
  • Ensure that you only access Financial Planner from PCs or Laptops that are in your direct control.
  • Do not share your information with anyone else bar the Financial Advisor who is authorised from Financial Planner Technology Limited
  • In the event of you wishing to terminate the services, please instruct us to delete your account and ensure that all information is no longer stored on Financial Planner.
  • If you see any breach of security, please report it to our offices at 01 6279495 immediately or send an email to info@financialplanner.ie .
  • Do not allow friends, family members or work colleagues access to your Financial Planner account. If they wish to understand how it works feel free to send them a brochure or contact our offices.
  • Do not store any PIN numbers, personal access codes to any Bank account in your Financial Planner account.
